A supplier, not a reseller
Orindo Prima is an authorised Malaysian distributor for Eleiko, adidas, TYR and Nordic Sport. That word matters: it means we hold the manufacturer agreement, carry the warranty obligation, and can produce the certification paperwork a technical official will ask to see.
It also means what we sell is genuine. Eleiko in particular is heavily counterfeited across the region, and a bar that fails a world-record attempt is not a pricing problem — it is a safety one.
Most of what leaves our warehouse is specified rather than browsed. A state sports council equipping a meet, a school spending one budget cycle on a full season, a facility manager fitting out a building that is not finished yet — these are buyers who need lead times, documentation and a written quotation before anything can move. The website is built around that, which is why the quote basket sits beside the cart rather than behind it.
How we got here
Slowly, and mostly by holding stock nobody else wanted to hold.

2001
One storeroom in Ampang
Orindo Prima opens with a single storeroom and two club customers. The proposition is the same one we still run on: hold real stock, know the specification, answer the phone.

2006
First distributorship
The first manufacturer agreement is signed after five years of demonstrated volume. Territory is not handed out casually in this trade, and it took that long.

2011
Schools become the core
State education departments start buying centrally. Purchasing shifts from single clubs to budget cycles, tender documents and LPOs — and the quotation process becomes the main way we sell.

2017
Competition supply
First full competition platform build-out for a national championship. Holding certified stock locally rather than ordering against demand turns out to be the whole business.

2022
Four distributorships
Eleiko, adidas, TYR and Nordic Sport. Between them they cover strength, football, aquatics and athletics — the four disciplines Malaysian institutions buy most.

Online, properly
A catalogue you can browse and a quotation flow that works the way institutions actually buy. The cart is for the club buying two nets; the quote basket is for everyone else.

Specification before price
We will tell you when a cheaper option is adequate, and when it is not. A school does not need certified competition implements for a sports day, and a state meet cannot use school-specification ones.

Stock held locally
Competition equipment has long production lead times. If it is not already in the country when the phone rings, an eleven-day deadline is not a schedule — it is a hope.

The same contact handles your quotation, your order and your delivery. No handoffs between departments, and no explaining the job twice.

People who have kitted out facilities
The sales desk has installed platforms and cut netting to size. When you ask whether something fits a 3.1 metre ceiling, the answer comes from experience rather than a datasheet.

Warehouse & showroom
Stock is held locally rather than ordered against demand, which is what makes a short lead time possible at all. Competition bars, plates, netting and the consumables a facility replaces most often are on the shelf.
Visits are by appointment — call ahead and we will have out whatever you want to handle. Coaches specifying a bar generally want to feel the knurling before committing a season’s budget to it, and that is a reasonable thing to want.
